The Art of Simplicity
In cooking, as in life, the simplest ingredients often yield the most profound flavors.
Reflecting on a simple pasta dish I made today, I realized that we often overcomplicate things. We add more, thinking it will be better. But true mastery is knowing what to leave out.
My grandmother used to say that a good soup needs only three things: good water, fresh ingredients, and time. I think she was right about more than just soup.
